found object to the 50th Week - a retrospective
[mm] with my find the SDS.MLU adopted from 2010 onwards. We want to take this opportunity for a little retrospective. Much has been discussed in 2010, read, and done. The SDS.MLU has become one of a newly formed group to a important part of the MLU developed.
In 2010, we heard short presentations from members of public meetings, established a spokes for the group and introduced ourselves to the high school choice with a list of links. We have achieved a remarkable electoral success. As a "film choice" we showed to Martin Kessler's "The summit was the" over the situation in and around Heiligendamm, the G8 summit. To the formation of the strike week in June SDS.MLU actively participated.
In April, we have a culture and information brochure "left informative" released, filled with all sorts of practical tips to college and hall, recommendations to go out, and a map.
Another important institution was the reading circle with socialist literature, Rosa-Luxembourg-focus in the summer semester break, and the Austro-Marxism in the winter semester.
of recent events we have in the summer with backgrounds to fraternities - busy - especially in Halle. In the winter semester, we had to Jörg Kronauer with a presentation on "Fraternities and the extreme right" as a guest.
The GHG together, we presented a series of events on migration in the university with the title "Education for all - and for free". We heard a presentation about the club and organized panel discussions Medinetz on the subject.
tends So now an exciting year to the end of the SDS.MLU. We wish all our readers, supporters and friends a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We see 2011 for many interesting events and activities - maybe then YOU!

Catchy High School Phrases
Find of the 49th Week
(cr) Now it's a done deal and is probably more of a early Christmas present for the NPD as the DVU: merge the two remaining major parties of the extreme right. What had been indicated by the Pact for Germany between the two parties in recent years, the NPD has in the last month and the DVU just decided now.
Where it probably more a matter of the DVU was not to disappear into insignificance to form together with the NPD as the new vanguard of the "national revolution". Since the final withdrawal of major financier Gerhard Frey (editor of "National-Zeitung"), it goes downhill: half of the lost members, financial problems (as well as the NPD) and poor election results. The last parliament in 2007 in the Bremer catchment Senate could only be enforced by a court. In addition, the party flew with meager 1.2% of the vote last year, of the Potsdam parliament.
The importance of quasi "Angliederung" of the NPD, DVU can made only vague assumptions be. On the one hand, the now "new" NPD voters for the national-conservative spectrum are attractive, but this can be questioned on the increased influence of the free camaraderie in the NPD. Of particular interest might in this case, the state election in March 2011, in Saxony-Anhalt, the DVU moved here at that time in 1998 with alarming 12.9% in the diet, but then disappeared again as quickly as it had come. If it should succeed in the "new" party to mobilize the entire right constituencies, displays a collection of the NPD next year is not that far fetched. Perhaps the extreme right also wants to build a new right prophesied IMAGE "Germany-party" anticipate and create facts.
Against the background of the development of NPD structures in Saxony-Anhalt, close to the NPD Saxony and the general racist propaganda a la Sarrazin is to support anti-fascist forces and establish open spaces left. Confronting right consensus in the "center of society" and the infrastructure of fascist youth clubs to Thor Steinar stores it is decided. A beginning can be made in Dresden on the 13th February when it again is called "Calling Dresden - ¡No Pasaran

Panel discussion "German Do universities have a quota for people with migration background?"
(jj) Last Thursday was the third in the series of "education for all and that for nothing!" instead. The GHG and the SDS had a panel discussion on "Need German universities have a quota for people with migration background?" Invited. On the panel were Prof. Claudia Dalbert, she is professor at the MLU in the field of educational psychology, and Hannah Tewocht, she is a researcher at the Institute for Public Law of Prof. Dr. Kluth at the MLU. Ska Keller (MEP Alliance 90/The Greens) and Hildegard Rode (LSA Ministry of Social Affairs and Health) could not participate due to heavy snowfall. But Ska Keller commented yet with a video message to the migration quota in higher education. She said that although at odds also give drawbacks, it would be useful for a certain period of time. They would encourage reflection and discussion. But one should total to ensure that migrants would get better opportunities in education. It begins in early childhood.
Access to day care centers will remain for many migrant women alone denied the charges and then the discrimination is continue in school. But even that degrees are mainly from non-EU countries do not often acknowledged, is another problem but dar. The main reason that is not regulated in Germany, who is responsible for the recognition of qualifications. For this purpose there is to be in the near future an initiative of the federal government.
The problems were raised by Ska Keller up among others in the discussion. Odds are, according to Hannah may
Tewocht not legally possible, since the article says 3 of the Basic Law, that no one will be because of sex, origin, [...] and coming [...] discrimination or preference . What would be the case for quotas. In addition, a quota could be perceived as unfair by those affected. It could arise by other justice issues for people who would be "taken away" by this rate, the trial court. Against a quota for migrant women is the fact that they are not a homogeneous mass, as is the case for quotas for women. It would be hard to define who would ever fall in this ratio.
Another problem is the population dar. result that the German education system is highly selective, there are few high school graduates with an immigrant background, which means that even if there was a quota, would the immigrants that are allowed at the university to this rate meeting missing (at least in the formation of residents). This means that it would be sensible people with an immigrant background to promote early, so get more A-levels. This is also generally apply to children from disadvantaged backgrounds, because to them the German education system acts as a selective and discriminatory.
was also interesting that there is already a "foreigner rate" is. 8% of university places are awarded to migrants. This is apparently allowed because the rate is very low.
The question is, what solutions there might be a quota place yet. In the U.S., the African-Americans in their fitness tests from the start 20 of 150 points because of their color well written (Affirmative Action) to facilitate access to the university. This "positive discrimination" would be compensated for the discrimination against African-Americans. For Germany, this approach would be useful for two reasons. First, one can not introduce such measures in the current education system, there is the access for the university in our high school and in the U.S. but has not decided the degree of the aptitude test. And second, the general social consensus is lacking about the fact that such measures are necessary. Prof. Dalby said that if the Company deems such a thing is not necessary, then it could not translated, because it probably would not meet with acceptance. In the U.S., this is possible because the majority is aware of the racism in the community and this decision as "compensation" look. We would be more difficult because the migrants feel aggrieved not often, which probably comes from the fact that the discrimination attaches back in the early years and therefore not perceived.
addition to the proposal of a "social" College was also the legitimacy of a quota discussed the need (for certain programs could be people with certain Russian Pre-requirements such as mother tongue) promote. This proposal was at least legally possible.

What Is The Best Way To Get Rid Of Verrucas
toilet in Christiania in Copenhagen
The image was sent directly from Denmark, we are grateful to Per and Inger. By writing it to the toilet is not much to say and it is a reason why people just pee next to it. "Be happy that there is no smell emails, you would fall from the chair."
Hmmm ... As we have once again had plenty of luck, we can almost smell so well.

report policy and strategy forum for SDS
(ag) Last weekend, had invited the SDS national board to a policy and strategy Forum (PSF). Despite weather chaos and cancellations over 70 SDSlerInnen accepted the invitation and came to the Humboldt University in Berlin.
But not only met the SDS, including the Youth League Links Youth ['solid] was present, there was also a working meeting of the Federal Working Groups (BAC) was applied.
The BAC's are working groups of activists from all over Germany are working together on a specific topic, such as climate, International, or feminism, anti-militarism and
peace. The BAC was
Antifa For example, discuss why it is so important for the anti-fascist work is to form alliances, and there was a small manual that human action has to be considered when mobilizing for Dresden. The BAK
anti-militarism and peace (aT) has agreed on priorities for the next year. These were the conflicts in Afghanistan and Iran, and militarization and weapons research at universities and promotional work of the Bundeswehr in schools.
The policy and strategy forum of the SDS was the ability on a large scale, panel discussions, but also in small groups, workshops to deal with various topics, share experiences and work priorities to discuss the student association for the coming year.
It was on Saturday SDS-workshop phase to the fields of finance, local home pages, or different group models.
groups exchanged, including Berlin, Hamburg, Heidelberg and Halle from their group practice. Especially the position of women in the SDS was the topic. There was general agreement from all groups reported that there are far too few women in the groups and new members are the predominant proportion of men. But still there is no truly effective solution to approaches, so that the better integration of women into the work of the SDS in 2011 once again an important topic must be working.
But other structural problems were evident in the group performance.
but also hinder information hierarchies and "Checkertum" from old to new group members are on the road, our reputation as emancipatory Association will fully satisfy.
Therefore, the critical reflection of our own work, as happened this weekend, especially important.
But not only the work in the groups discussed the prospects of the whole SDS were discussed and work themes for 2011 were discussed.
thus forms the mobilization of the blockades of the Nazi march in Dresden in February, the focal point for the first quarter. This time, the SDS will again play a leading force in the covenants and then be made on practical actions.
founded on Sunday, to a project group consisting of representatives from the party, youth and student association is. It will ensure the better integration and coordination of operations of the various alliances.
addition to the formation of protests will be rekindled. By suspension of conscription and the double volumes, a large mass of new students next semester at the universities and the flow exacerbate the already poor situation at the universities on. Here we see the SDS big action potential, which we must exploit sent.
The weekend offered all participants the opportunity to meet fellow women and to network comrades from all over Germany and the critical work in their own groups to light. But for the association as a whole, it is helpful not only to the successes of last year to look, but differentiated to consider its work. For what strengthens us, not only our achievements, but also on its ability and will to their own actions constantly reflect and rethink.

(r) A high-rise on the German export!
Why the "Germans" have to tighten their belts, and other European countries are lazy and corrupt.
In the German law is that we have a balanced current account should have, we say exactly the same export value of goods we import. But unfortunately, government and media praise for several decades so that we export world champion (since last year in China). To be as strong
export requires that these wages in Germany, of course, kept very low and will drop - the impact we can see across the country. This of course has the consequence that decreases our domestic demand. The bigger problem is that our immediate neighbors in the EU are strongly suppressed in the corner. Before the euro had all the states to evaluate the possibility of their currency, as the now the U.S. and China do. Since they no longer have this option, you buy the cheap products from Germany. As a result, more and more money flows to Germany, but only slightly out. German exporting companies then set their money, which banks then lend generously again leaving the country. As our neighbors get no money by trading in Germany, they have to borrow the money, in order to buy back the cheap German products. At some point, the point is reached where the German banks believe that they no longer get back the money and set the rent. It happened in Greece and the other southern European countries will follow. But as we all these countries need to continue to uphold our paragraphs were applied huge parachutes for the indebted countries of the European taxpayer. To once again to describe in detail: the money, which applies to the German tax payer, get our southern neighbors, who use this money German private banks. That is, we indirectly pay the money to the German banks and the reason is the low wages in Germany, which means we are cut twice a ride. The insidious thing is though, that the German government is now demanding that all these countries, their wages to the low German wage To adapt, they still face the same competition. The only problem is that it can not win in the competition among countries. A company may go insolvent, but countries do not and if so, can citizens emigrate not all be thrown out as employees in companies. Let's assume, just as the trend looks just received all the euro countries in the competition in wages. It is soon to come in the end to deflation and recession. The critical question is, who benefits from this crisis?

village inn near Uelzen
Here is a toilet with no more delicious 60's charm and the incredible mural of Pinkel (per) versions. Unbelievable. Unbelievable. Do not imitate. Here are details:
But the toilet has seen better times. At some point to renovate simple. At the latest when the Stiebel Eltron Hand Dryers for the museum would buy . By then it MUST be.

Theatre in the Church Avenue in Hamburg's Thalia Theater in Hamburg
The theater would not like the Thalia theater items below and it probably does so purely programmatically, but in terms of Clean toilet and there is a bit of catching up. It's nice that there are 3 rolls of toilet paper, but standing on the sink switch. Now, every andaddeln the paper over to the Flushing to come. This is extremely unhygienic. This needs to be improved urgently.

Nuratic Acid Chemical Structure
Most beautiful theater and a really clean toilet. All very compelling. Crap, nothing to complain about, no Ekelkram, nothing ... somehow but no one wants it?
